Great story about Adam, the thousand year old King of the vampire Mafia & leader of the New York territory, and Amanda, half fairy/half human loner bartender with major trust and abandonment issues. Adam winds up in Amanda's club one night & is immediately taken with her but she, although affected by his incredible looks & power, is able to resist his advances. Adam is positive Amanda is his mate & set out to win her heart but it's going to be an uphill battle because Amanda, being half fairy, is gorgeous & her blood lures people in....which she hates so she wears baggy clothes & no makeup. Because of that, she never knows if someone likes her for her, or because her fairy blood is tempting them. Anyway, it was short but didn't really feel short, characters were fleshed out, plot was intriguing, good drama. A 5-star read.Product details

I've always been a fan of Alpha books. This book really did it's part. One of the best read ever.
Sweet tender and so romantic. Each page flowed into the next with a building of sweetness. Fairies and vampires in love! What fun!
That's is the twist I hadn't read before. A half human and fairy bartender that likes to fight in fight club. This is my type of heroine. Although the story ends abruptly no real plot development. I like the main characters a ton. Fun read.
A strong female character with just enough back story, combined with a strong but caring and supportive male character made this a charming light read.
Both main characters were strong and self sufficient. Adam had to learn about not getting everything he wanted when he wanted. Amanda had to learn that not everyone was out to hurt her. A tough but gentle woman and a tough but patient genleman. A great love story with a few twists and turns. The Author Eva Lamb should be proud. A few editing mistakes, so make sure the proofreader has their eyes open. Hope to read more of your work.
