An intriguing read to say the least. First Lady K and D. Jay had me on the edge of my seat. They had a few errors here and there yet they didn't take away from the book.I was torn from the very beginning Deshuan put Keisha through the wringer, yet that didn't not tarnish her.
After a horrible accident Keisha is put in a dilemma and had to make a tough decision. Carter was there for her through it all. From the visits with her to the ones with her mom.
Without giving so much away this book had me on a emotional rollercoaster ride. Loyalty will be tested. Love will be found
Relationships will be rekindled and someone is plotting for revenge. As everyone is pushed for time no one would guess the outcome.
This is a great read.

Even though Keidha was abused and beat down she found love and the strength to live. And Carter was patient for the woman he loved , vowing to protect her til the end. Love will prevail In the end
Wonderful ending. I'm happy Keisha found happiness and moved on from that ass whole Dashuan. I understand why she left the way she left even though it had Carter questioning his man hood. Also glad that her and Tierra are friends. This book here hit home in many ways than one.
This book is a great example of love conquering all. No matter how hard Keisha fights it, or how far she runs, she can't escape her feelings for Carter. I love how Tierra and Ricky (from Part 1) make appearances in this book and we get to see how they are doing. I also like how they wrote the Deshaun character and showed how he "went straight". At one point I was rooting for him to actually change. I think my favorite character over all was Chase, which is funny since he didn't have a really huge part. I hope he's in another book soon. I really enjoyed reading this book and I can't wait for Part 3 so hurry up!!!
